I had an art teacher in high school that told me that if you want to stay sharp in your chosen artistic medium, make self-portraits, because it's a subject that's always available to you. I never really had a desire to do that, so I chose the next best thing – I chose Pikes Peak as my self-portrait stand-in, because, like Mr. Mundy said, it was a subject that was always available to me. Having started my photography career first as a hobbiest living in the shadow of Pikes Peak, I eventually amassed quite a portfolio of images of Pikes Peak, and of Garden of the Gods at its feet. This is a miniscule sample of those photos, with more to be added as time goes by.
