Having grown up and started my landscape photo obsession in Colorado Springs, where subjects like Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods were always at my artistic beck and call, moving to Golden had me worried that I would not enjoy the same easy access to worthy photographic subjects. I had nothing to worry about. Golden specifically, and Jeffco in general, has lots of natural areas worthy of pointing a camera lens at. So here's a collection of images featuring scenes around my current hometown of Golden, Colorado, and adjacent Jefferson County. And since Boulder is just a quick 15-minute drive up Highway-93, I've included images from around that city as well. This includes locations in-between, like Eldorado Canyon.
